This Privacy Policy explains what information the Flippity Flap app ("the app", "we", "us") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The app is published by Justin Torres. By using the app you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

Information you provide

• Display name. During setup you choose a name. It is stored on your device and shown on the in-app stats screen and, if you sign in to Game Center, alongside your leaderboard entry.

Information collected automatically

• Gameplay data. Your best streak, total flips, daily play streak, and similar progress. This is stored on your device and, if you use Game Center, submitted to Apple's Game Center leaderboards and achievements under your Game Center alias.
• Purchase history. If you buy coin skins, backgrounds, or a streak save, the purchase is processed by Apple. We receive only Apple's confirmation of which items you own (via StoreKit) so we can unlock them. We never see your payment-card details.
• Advertising identifier (IDFA). Only if you grant permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, our advertising partner (Google AdMob) may access your device's advertising identifier to show more relevant ads and measure ad performance. If you decline, you still see ads, just less personalized.
• Ad-related technical data. Google AdMob may collect device and usage information (such as device type, OS version, coarse location derived from IP, and ad interactions) to serve and measure ads, as described in Google's policies.

How we use information

• To run the game, save your progress, and unlock your purchases.
• To show leaderboards and achievements through Apple Game Center.
• To display advertising that helps keep the app free.
• To diagnose problems and improve the app.

Third-party services

The app uses the following services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Google AdMob (advertising) — policies.google.com/privacy
• Apple Game Center (leaderboards & achievements) — apple.com/legal/privacy
• Apple StoreKit / App Store (in-app purchases) — apple.com/legal/privacy

Data storage & retention

Game settings and progress are stored locally on your device using the operating system's standard storage, and persist until you delete the app. We do not operate our own servers and do not maintain a separate database of your personal information. Leaderboard and purchase data are retained by Apple and Google according to their policies.

Your choices

• Tracking. You can allow or deny tracking when first prompted, and change it any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
• Personalized ads. Manage ad personalization in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.
• Delete your data. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data. To manage Game Center data, use iOS Settings → Game Center.

Children's privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
